Wow!
We were elated to learn that “Coldwater Kitchen” is a Media Award nominee in the 2023 James Beard Awards. Presented by the James Beard Foundation, the awards are widely considered the Oscars of the restaurant industry. Needless to say, the food-connected folks involved with “Coldwater Kitchen” — on the screen and behind the camera — are pretty darn excited.
Winners will be announced on June 3 in Chicago. We’ve got some tough competition in the Documentary / Docuseries Visual Media category, including “James Hemings: Ghost in America’s Kitchen” and “Love, Charlie: The Rise and Fall of Chef Charlie Trotter.” So we’re truly honored to be nominated, and we’re not just saying that.
