An appreciative shoutout to writer SEEN the Magazine for their in-depth look at the “Coldwater Kitchen” film and the program that inspired it.

The magazine spoke with the documentary’s c0-director Mark Kurlyandchik, food tech leader Chef Jimmy Lee Hill and student Dink Dawson, who talked about the impact the program had on him.

“Chef Hill gave me both positive energy when it was needed and a skill that will help me and my family for the rest of my life,” Dawson told SEEN. “It was tough back home at first, but I made my mind up that I was going to apply the skill he taught me to the thing I wanted to do, and that’s just what I did.”
